Description

As the Marketing team expands, we are actively looking for a talented and experienced Email Marketing
Specialist to join JPW! Our Marketing environment balances casual and professional. We’re serious about

The primary role of the Email Marketing Specialist will be to create and deploy email marketing
campaigns to both B2B customers and directly to end users. Under the direction of the Digital Marketing
Director, this is a full-time position based out of the corporate headquarters in La Vergne, Tennessee.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Critical partner. Have a voice. Lead.
• Create email marketing automation flows
• Layout emails & make sure they are tracking correctly
• Deploy emails that are both visually appealing and optimized for conversions
• Use A/B testing to determine successful tactics
• Coordinate with creative, content, and paid media specialists on an integrated
approach to email
• Manage email data maintenance, briefing, review, code/build, QA and deployment
processes for all email campaigns
• Build deeper insights into segmentation through data analysis and behavioral
retargeting while also reporting on email list quality and health. Translate data and
report back data in a way that makes sense to the respective audience
• Establish email best practices and maintain channel consistency
• Assist with data cleansing projects

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Energy. Drive. Focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field, required
• 3+ years of email marketing experience developing automated and personalized marketing
emails and triggered workflows (drip and nurture) for acquisition or engagement campaigns
• Experience using email marketing tools such as Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo & Klaviyo
• Salesforce or CRM experience a plus
• Experience in DOMO or other data visualization a plus
• Technical aptitude and proficiency: MS Suite especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Forward thinking with the ability to foster innovation and creativity, while also maintaining a focus on day-to-day deliverables and workload
• Highly collaborative style and able to work easily in an environment of multiple stakeholders
• Exceptional time management skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting
• Superior communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
• Highly organized to multi-task effectively, and deliver accurately and timely on objectives
• Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to work with others, especially across teams and functions
• Adaptability to a challenging and developing environment, and willingness to take on new responsibilities as the business evolves
